Responsible for enterprise-wide database installation, configuration, upgradation, patching, backup, recovery, optimization, performance tuning, automation and resource monitoring. Perform database-related support for different Oracle database environments on various versions of Oracle databases including Oracle Applications 11g,12c and 19c on Exadata machines. Ensure business continuity and resiliency with implementation of HP Operations Orchestration (HPOO). Implement Data replication using Goldengate. Responsible for Oracle RAC and standalone database administration, database refresh, restore, deployments, database upgrades and patching. Perform database refreshes and restorations using Recovery Manager (RMAN) and expdp. Configure databases in Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) Grid control and configure agents on clients. Implement auditing at database level, Oracle Virtual Directory (OVD) and database vault implementation. Administer MSSQL databases. Create, configure and implement mirroring. Clone and maintain multiple Oracle Database environments for Development, Testing and UAT. Upgrade Oracle Applications from 11i versions to R12. Perform implementation of Data Guard / Disaster Recovery to Oracle Applications setup and to database migration of RAC/Standalone databases from legacy to Exadata environment. Support Weblogic and Fusion middleware and web portal server’s deployments. Perform administration of Sybase databases, refresh and replication. Will work in Manchester, CT and/or various client sites throughout the U.S. Must be willing to travel and/or relocate.
